Social posts from Gemini CLI. One remote server, every network.

Gemini CLI can use remote MCP servers, so it connects to the hosted Postbroad server like any other client. Ask it to draft and check posts; Postbroad previews every write first.

Hosted MCPCoding agent
Gemini CLI, connected to PostbroadWhat it can do
Plan from your real calendarReads your brands, the channels each one posts to, and what is already planned, then finds the free slots.
Draft a version for each networkWrites one post with a version per network, checked against your brand rules and each network's limits before anything is saved.
Schedule or publish after a previewEvery write shows a preview first: what goes where, the checks, and any problems. Nothing is saved or sent until you say yes.
Send drafts for approvalIf a brand needs approval, the agent gets a review link and stops. It cannot approve a post for you.
Check what really happenedReads the state on each network: live with a link, accepted, retrying, or waiting for you. It tells failed and unknown apart.
Retry only what failedSends again to the networks that failed, after you confirm. A post whose outcome is unknown is not sent twice.

Connect Gemini CLI in three steps.

Gemini CLI uses the hosted Postbroad MCP server. There is nothing to install: you sign in in the browser and pick the brands.

  1. Add a remote MCP serverIn your Gemini CLI settings, add Postbroad as a remote MCP server with the address https://app.postbroad.com/mcp.
  2. Sign in and pick brandsThe first time the client connects, Postbroad opens a sign-in page in your browser. Sign in and choose the brands this connection may touch. There is no key to copy.
  3. Check the serverStart Gemini CLI, run /mcp to see that postbroad lists its tools, and ask: "List my Postbroad brands."

  • Postbroad has no Gemini-specific setup: the address is all it needs.

Prompts to start with.

Each one only reads or proposes until you say yes. Paste one into a chat once Postbroad is connected.

Plan next week for the brand Northwind. The week starts Monday. Look at what is already on the calendar and propose a draft for each free slot. Do not schedule anything.
Draft three posts about this changelog entry in the Northwind voice. Save the one I choose as a draft.
What failed yesterday for Northwind? For each network, tell me what happened and what I can do.
Which posts are scheduled for tomorrow, and are any blocked by a check?

Every channel you connect.

Gemini CLI posts to the channels you connected in Postbroad, each with its own limits and its own state.

Gemini CLI questions.

Does this work in the Gemini app?

This page is about Gemini CLI. Use ChatGPT or Claude if you want a chat app with a connector.

Can the agent post without asking me?

Not by default. Each agent or connection has a mode: draft only, needs approval (the default), or auto within a budget. Scheduling and publishing always show a preview first.

Which networks can it post to?

The channels you have connected in Postbroad. Each network keeps its own limits and its own state. See every channel.

Can I take the access away?

Yes. Remove the connection in the client, or revoke its grant or its API key in Postbroad, and the access ends.

Other agents.

The same Postbroad, the same rules, from another client.
